Hiking Southern Utah
Imagine clear blue skies, clean air, and plenty of desert sunshine. All of these are part of the experience of Southern Utah, some of the most colorful representations of classic geography for the southwest United States. There are so many beautiful places to see in St. George, and hiking is a fun outdoor activity for all ages, and difficulty level. So get outside and enjoy the majestic beauty that is Southern Utah!

Experience Diverse Eco-Systems in the Red Cliffs Desert Reserve
At the merging of three great ecosystems, the Mojave Desert, the Great Basin, and the Colorado Plateau, the Reserve is biologically rich with a unique array of animals and plants. The conditions in the region are such that several endemic species, those which occur no where else in the world, do occur here.

The Fun of Longboarding
Longboarding is a fun activity that you can do all over St. George. Where ever there is road you can spend your time on a longboard. It works best going downhill, but anywhere there is road there's fun to be had. Longboards are not too expensive and you can buy them at the mall or there are a few stores around St George that you can get them at. It can be a little dangerous, but with a helmet and the proper safety gear you will be just fine.
Weekly Open Mic Nights!
Wednesdays are for open mic nights here in St. George. If you like to sing, or just listen try out these locations for a fun time.
Casa Dona Maria Mexican Restaurant 720 E 700 South at 8PM
Casa Dona Maria offers it's customers good authentic Mexican food, with a nice atmosphere for some good music.
Jazzy's Rock n Roll Grilll 285 N Bluff, at 8PM
Jazzy's has excellent food, tasty sandwiches and smoothies, among many other good choices. The atmosphere is unique and fun. As well as their weekly Open Mic Nights, Jazzy's Rock and Roll Grill hosts many bands and local artists, so make sure to look out for upcoming artists you can hear live at Jazzy's.
Firehouse Bar & Grill 1476 W Sunset Blvd, at 9PM
The Firehouse Bar & Grill has a wide selection of drinks as well as a full kitchen serving breakfast lunch and dinner. Also join them Tuesday nights for karaoke night, Fridays for ladies night, and Saturdays for band night with live music.
Also, on Thursday nights Twenty-Five Main Cafe hosts it's weekly Storm the Mic, which invites writers of all different genres to share their creative work. Writers share anything from poetry to screenplays.

Tuacahn Saturday Market
The Tuacahn Saturday Market will start its Third season on Saturday April 2nd 2011 and will continue every Saturday for the rest of the year
The hours are from 9:00am to 1:00pm. Admission and entertainment is free. Patrons are able to stroll along the tree lined walkway next to the running water feature and browse the displays by local painters, artists and crafters. Food, including seasonal fruits and vegetables will be available for purchase including weekly co-op baskets with all your favorite fresh fruits & vegetables.

GOGO 37 sets a chill and relax vibe it's location is perfectly set in the middle of town. Musical Artists from all over the United States come to play here. As well as having local artists featured, displaying their showcases. Admissions are very affordable ranging from ticket prices of $5 - $10.

Rock Climbing & Bouldering
How to get there:
- Travel on I-15 (north or south) and get off at Exit 6 (Bluff St.).
- Turn north on Bluff St.
- At the first light, turn left...
- ...then immediately left again onto Hilton Dr. You will pass a bunch of car dealerships in a minute.
- Continue on Hilton Dr. (which curves to the right and becomes Dixie Dr.) until 600 W street on the left.
- Turn left onto 600 W.
- Turn right onto Tonaquint Dr.
- Turn right on Curly Hollow Drive (after turning onto Tonaquint it is the third street on the right, and heads past Tonaquint Middle School). Shortly past the school the pavement ends.
- Head up the hill on the dirt road.
- Bear right at the fork.
Skate Park

The St. George Skate Park can be spotted right off of the freeway. It is an awesome skate park that we are so lucky to have! It is 15,000 square feet of slick concrete. With bowls and street skating elements and rails. The bowls we have here range from 4 feet deep to 7 feet. The park is not only exclusive to skateboarders but also in-line skaters and is scooter friendly. can't forget about the bikers too! The skate park is open during the hours of sunlight!

Golfing In Sunny St. George
Sunbrook Golf Course (2366 W. Sunbrook Dr.)
Sunbrook Golf Course is one of the premier public golf courses in St. George. There are 27 holes for you to golf on. There is a snack bar to get drinks and refreshments as well as a cart with drinks and snacks that drives around the course to the golfers. The pro shop is right at the front of the building where you can buy golf clubs, shirts, hats, and many more accessories for your enjoyment.
